A nourishing couples class to restore connection, deepen intimacy, and awaken shared vitality
There is a living current that moves between bodies, within the heart, and through relationship when love is tended with presence, intention, and care. This gathering is an invitation to nourish that current, to cultivate Jing, awaken Qi, and allow connection to become a source of vitality, grounding, and inner harmony.
Cultivating Love is a gentle, embodied introduction to Taoist practices of connection, energetic intimacy, and shared life force. This experience is open to couples and to individuals who wish to deepen their relationship with themselves, their energy, and the way connection circulates within and between bodies.
This gathering also serves as a doorway into our upcoming 4-week Radiant Relationship program for those who feel called to continue exploring these teachings in a deeper, ongoing way.
What We Will Explore Together
Welcome to Circulating Love, a 2-hour experiential workshop for couples inspired by Taoist wisdom and the teachings of Mantak Chia. Guided by Kelly and David, this introductory experience invites you to slow down, reconnect, and explore intimacy as a practice of cultivation rather than performance.
Rooted in safety, consent, and choice, all practices are fully clothed, gentle, and accessible, designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional connection, and sustainable vitality in modern relationships.
In Taoism, sexuality is understood as a powerful life force that can either be depleted or refined. Throughout the workshop, we explore the Taoist view of love and sex as healing, nourishing, and oriented toward longevity. You will be introduced to the Three Treasures, Jing as essence, Qi as energy, and Shen as spirit, and how conscious breath and awareness allow sexual energy to circulate rather than discharge.
This approach contrasts common goal oriented sexual conditioning and instead asks a simple, grounding question. How do we leave the experience more whole than when we entered it?
Our time together weaves teaching with embodied practice, offering both understanding and felt experience.
Activities include:
Opening container setting, intentions, and workshop agreements
Foundational Taoist breathing for regulation and energy awareness
Partner co regulation practices using breath without touch
An educational introduction to Jing, solo cultivation, and vitality
Standing couples Qi Gong to explore circulation, polarity, and connection
Fully clothed Taoist touch principles and simple massage for flow
Seated couples meditation to cultivate heart connection and shared presence
We close with integration, reflection, and space for questions, along with an introduction to future pathways for couples wishing to continue this work. Circulating Love is not about doing more, trying harder, or intensifying sensation. It is about learning to leak less, circulate more, and allow intimacy to become a source of nourishment, resilience, and love that grows over time.
What the Workshop will Include
Circulating Love is an experiential class designed to help couples deepen connection, regulation, and intimacy through accessible Taoist energy practices. Inspired by the teachings of Mantak Chia, this class introduces Inner and Sexual Alchemy in a grounded, modern way. No prior knowledge of Taoism, yin and yang, or energy work is required. All concepts are explained simply and explored through guided practice.
The experience includes grounding and partner-based Qi Gong practices to support nervous system regulation and emotional connection, along with breathwork, visualization, and an introduction to the body’s energetic anatomy. Couples will learn how love and sexual energy can be consciously circulated within the body and shared with a partner through an experiential introduction to the Microcosmic Orbit.
We will explore masculine and feminine energies as complementary forces present in all people, offering practical tools for cultivating vitality, intimacy, and relational harmony. The class concludes with reflection, integration, and a closing practice to help anchor the experience into daily life.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring water, curiosity, and an open heart. Mats and props are provided, and you are welcome to bring anything that helps you feel cozy and supported. Gentle movement and floor-based practices are included throughout the class.
This Workshop is for couples and indviduals who…

Over four weeks we will deepen into Taoist energy cultivation within self and partnership, restoring Jing and strengthening nervous system resilience, integrating the Microcosmic Orbit in daily life and relationship, cultivating energetic intimacy and heart centered connection, and balancing Yin and Yang within the field of love.
Participation in Circulating Love class serves as the entry point into this container, and more details will be shared during the gathering so you can feel whether this path is right for you.
